About perceptive ACCOUNTING

James Gear, founder of perceptive ACCOUNTING has amassed over 12 years experience dealing specifically with the SME market place.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham he continued his education to Chartered Management Accountant status, whilst managing to find time to play cricket both at home and overseas. In 2009 James completed his professional qualification with CIMA achieving the status Chartered Management Accountant, ACMA.

Leading finance teams in small enterprises as well as working in global organisations such as Omnicom, Cahoot and BSI has given James the critical skills and experience required to fulfill all the accounting functions for an SME. James is also a Sage and IRIS Accountant.

In 2009, James decided the entrepreneurial bug had bitten and it was time to follow his heart back to the SME environment and start perceptive ACCOUNTING.

James sits on the board of companies such as Bluecube Technology Solutions Ltd; Carbon Registry Services and Efficiency Technologies; continuing to shape their commercial success as well as ensuring a high level of corporate governance.
